# Replies

Iflow is two-way. When you send from a **reply number**, people can reply by text as normal, and their replies arrive in your Iflow account.

## Which messages can be replied to

| Sent from | Can people reply? |
|-----------|-------------------|
| A reply number | Yes |
| A sender ID (your organisation's name) | No. Phones don't let people reply to a name |
{.table}

If you need answers, such as confirmations, send from a reply number. See [About sender IDs](/docs/sender-ids/about-sender-ids/).

## Shared and dedicated reply numbers

In some countries Iflow offers a **shared reply number**, which costs nothing per month. You can also rent your **own reply number** for a monthly fee, where it's offered. The [pricing page](/pricing/) shows what's available in your country.

## What a reply costs

Each reply received is charged at your country's reply rate. See the [pricing page](/pricing/).

## STOP replies

If someone replies **STOP**, their number is added to your stop list and they won't be sent further messages. See [Opt-outs and the stop list](/docs/reference/opt-outs/).

<!-- NEEDS CAPTURE: where replies appear in the Iflow portal, whether replies can be forwarded by email, and whether the portal threads replies with the original message. -->
